MVP is undoubtely one of the most dependable superstars in WWE history. The former United States Champion has accomplished a lot in his pro wrestling career. More importantly, he is a man of integrity and knows when he did something wrong. MVP spent some time in jail in the past, and a person told him that he couldn’t last in jail.
MVP had a troubled upbringing and had several run-ins with the law during his youth. He spent six months in a juvenile detention center for robbery. Later, at the age of 16, he was sentenced to 18.5 years in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping and served 9.5 years of his sentence.
MVP didn’t let that trouble in his past derail his entire life. He turned everything around in a big way, and he became a household name as part of WWE. MVP later went out to wrestle in other companies, like his impressive run with Impact Wrestling.
The former United States Champion took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself setting beside a passenger, who told him that he did not look like someone who could last in jail.
Spent the entire flight listening to this guy tell me how tough jail is. He told me that I better stay outta trouble because I don’t look like the type that can handle that scene. I just nodded.
MVP obviously didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag in this situation. He probably thought it was funny in more ways than one that someone told him he wouldn’t last anywhere, because MVP has certainly proven his ability to adapt.
MVP is currently serving as the manager for the Colossal Omos. However, he was recently spotted backstage with his former work partners of ‘The Hurt Business’, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, as he hinted at a reunion in the future. We’ll have to see when that will happen.
