CM Punk has been known to be at the center of controversy throughout the majority of his life. But despite that, Punk lives carefree, pursuing various projects and having a lot of other interests. One of them is music, and a certain music legend wants CM Punk for the vocals of his song.
The Second City Saint has been an avid lover of punk rock and coined his ring name ‘Punk’ from his love for the music genre. Not only admiring the art, but CM Punk has also been heavily involved in the music scene for many years.
CM Punk has been a part of punk bands, namely Bouncing Souls, whose song “Night Train” was used as Punk’s entrance for his final bout in Ring of Honor. He also put together a set list for one of their concerts in 2012.
CM Punk’s musical talent was spotted by Vinnie Stigma, the lead singer for New York hardcore band Agnostic Front, during one of his performances with H20. Stigma recently stated that he had high praise for Punk’s performance during an interview with Wrestling Inc.
“That guy is the real deal. We need to get him on a Stigma record. I wrote a song for him to do vocals on.”
Vinnie Stigma seems serious about bringing CM Punk on board to belt the vocals for one of his new songs. On the other hand, The Best in the World has not been seen around the wrestling ring ever since the fiasco went down with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks post AEW All Out 2022 media scrum.
We will have to see what’s next for CM Punk, but he seems to have some options. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
