A few days ago, an inaccurate report of WWE being sold to the Saudi Public Investment Fund broke the internet wrestling community. While some fans cursed Vince McMahon for returning to WWE’s Board of Directors, others made the decision to boycott WWE programming immediately and onwards. Although the report was later shot down, fans are still anxious about the ownership changing hands sooner than later.

Vince McMahon is currently serving as Chairman on the company’s Board of Directors once again, but that might not be enough to satisfy his thirst for power. It was previously reported that Vince might consider selling WWE to The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia to regain creative control.

Fightful Select is now reporting that WWE talent are extremely worried about McMahon returning to creative. Over the past six months, Triple H has cultivated a fun and friendly work environment following Vince’s retirement from WWE, and it appears that talents are in no way ready to return to the billionaire’s old ways.

Talent is still very worried about Vince McMahon returning to creative.

It’s possible that McMahon will aim to regain creative control of WWE following a potential sale in order to remain in power. Among all the potential buyers, it is only Saudi Arabia that will likely keep McMahon in power if an agreement is reached.

It should be noted that Triple H ensured WWE talent in their meeting prior to SmackDown that the company’s creative direction will not change. Only time will tell how long that stays the case.

While Stephanie McMahon’s resignation made room for Nick Khan to become the sole CEO of WWE, it remains to be seen which direction the billion-dollar company heads to once Vince finalizes a deal with a suitable buyer.
