You never know who can show up on WWE programming. Despite the brand split, RAW Superstars can often jump over to SmackDown for a surprise. It appears that might happen again this week.
Karl Anderson recently lost the NEVER Openweight Championship to arch-rival Tama Tonga at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. The Machine Gun suffered another loss this past Monday on RAW when The Judgment Day defeated The O.C. to earn a shot at The Usos’ RAW Tag Team Titles.
According to a report from PW Insider, Anderson has been spotted around the January 13th SmackDown taping at the Resch Center. There’s no word on whether Anderson was accompanied by his stablemates, namely, Luke Gallows and Mia Kim. Of course, AJ Styles is out with an injury.
We are told that Raw star Karl Anderson has been spotted backstage at today’s taping. No word on Luke Gallows or Mia Yim.
On April 15, 2020, Gallows and Anderson were released by WWE as part of the budget cuts at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last couple of years, The Good Brothers have worked for Impact Wrestling, AEW, and NJPW.
On the October 10, 2022, episode of Monday Night RAW, Gallows and Anderson made their surprise return to WWE, aiding AJ Styles in attacking The Judgment Day. On the November 7th show, Yim returned to WWE, attacking Rhea Ripley and aligning with The O.C.
Although Mia Kim’s addition to The O.C. has helped the faction tackle their impending “Rhea” problem, the babyface group still came up short against Finn Balor’s crew in the Tag Team Turmoil Match on Monday night. We will have to see what’s next for the OC as they continue under Triple H’s creative direction.
