Frankie Kazarian was one of the highlights of Impact Wrestling during the promotion’s TNA days. He was a part of the first ever Ultimate X match along with Michael Shane and Chris Sabin. Tonight, Kaz announced his full-time return to the promotion.
Frankie Kazarian appeared during Impact Wrestling Hard to Kill. The former X Division Champion cut a promo wherein he revealed he had signed a new, long-term contract with the promotion.
Frankie Kazarian also referenced his stint in AEW during his promo, saying he made the decision to push himself rather than stay in a place with “people he thought were his friends.”
According to PW Insider, Kazarian approached AEW with a request for his release after his match against Josh Alexander in Impact. Tony Khan honored his request and now Kaz is back in his home promotion.
We are told Kazarian “did business the right way” and would be welcomed back into their locker room anytime, but going forward, he’s with Impact.
The Impact Wrestling locker room will undoubtedly benefit from a veteran in Frankie Kazarian. Stay tuned to Ringside News and we will continue to update you on Hard to Kill.
