Tony Khan has taken All Elite Wrestling from an upstart promotion and molded it into a director competition to the global giant WWE. The company has produced successful shows, but no live events except for one. It looks like Khan is looking to start the live event circuit.

AEW came into existence back in 2019, signing various former WWE superstars along with popular names from the independent circuit. In a span of three years, they have proved to become a highly successful giant in the industry with a progressive future ahead. Still, they haven’t formed a live event touring schedule yet. That is about to change after Jeff Jarrett was brought into the company.

Since its inception, AEW has focused on producing exciting weekly television, with AEW Dynamite, Dark, and Rampage along with some exhilarating pay-per-view shows such as Full Gear, Double or Nothing, and more. Dark airs on YouTube, and it is often filmed from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Tony Khan has chosen not to produce any live events during those years. He has only held one live event in the last three years. The event titled “The House Always Wins” happened on April 9, 2021. Khan recently spoke about the possibility of running house shows during an interview with In The Zone.

“Well, it’s a great question. Yeah, I have. That’s something we are talking about. We have a great live events team with Rafael Morffi, Chris Harrington and a bunch of great people I work with. Now Jeff Jarrett has come in. It’s something we’ve talked a lot about and building out the live event business. There is definitely a lot of demand for AEW live events, and now we have this big great strong roster that wants to do these live events, so I think that is something we’re going to do.”

Jeff Jarrett was recently announced as the new Director of Business Development. This led to a belief among the fans that AEW would start to run more live events, along with international events to signal a new start with the new year.
