Mickie James will go down in history as one of the greatest female wrestlers in the history of the business. The Hardcore country girl recently responded to having one last dance with her longtime rival Trish Stratus. James also said that she would want Stratus to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Mickie James will face Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace in a title vs career match on January 13th at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view. To promote the match, she appeared on Brian Hebner’s Refin’ It Up podcast. Mickie was asked if she was prepared to retire from wrestling if she lost that match.

Mickie James said that it’s unusual for a female to have a 15-year career in pro wrestling. In that regard, she feels quite blessed. According to her, the plot is far more crucial than the moves in the ring. Mickie also said that she would like Trish Stratus to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I think for WWE, it has to be Trish Stratus. I think if there was no Trish Stratus, if it wasn’t that opportunity for my first run of how I was introduced to the WWE audience with Trish and the magic, like people wouldn’t have cared 20 years later. It really set the stage. I just think back to all the times I was supposed to debut before that and it didn’t happen, and what a blessing in disguise it was and I didn’t see it then, but I think that it would be her for WWE.

When we talk about female superstars, the one rivalry that comes to our mind was between Trish Stratus and Mickie James during the Ruthless Aggression era. It will be a great sight if Trish Status inducts Mickie James into the WWE Hall of Fame. Keep an eye on Ringside News for more.
