Adam Cole admitted that his shoulder was “torn to shreds” and he had two back-to-back “very serious head injuries.” Cole spoke about his headaches and dizzy spells. If he was in a car for longer than 15 minutes, he would vomit. He had a hard road during his hiatus, and he kept it from fans.

Fans applauded when Adam Cole spoke about how they were there for him during his recovery. He said that “I have given you nothing for the past six months, but you were there for me, and I am eternally grateful.”

Then came the bad news. Adam Cole said that the bad news isn’t for him, the bad news is for the AEW locker room, because “Adam Cole is back.”

The crowd popped huge as Adam Cole said that he isn’t going anywhere. “I ain’t done yet,’ Adam Cole confirmed as the crowd roared for him. After saying that he hasn’t even scratched the surface, Adam Cole said that this was the day the “new Adam Cole was born,’ a day when he promised that he will become AEW World Champion.
