Ric Flair Is ‘Begging’ For Another Match

Ric Flair wrestled his last match over the summer, but you can never say never in pro wrestling. That includes Ric Flair hanging up his boots for good, because the two-time WWE Hall of Famer wants another match.

The Nature Boy’s last match took place on July 31st, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee. Ric Flair & Andrade El Idolo took on Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal, with Karen Jarrett in their corner. The Nashville Municipal Auditorium saw a historic night, but how will that event stand in the test of time?

Ric Flair opened up a bit on his To Be The Man podcast about wanting to wrestle again. He straight up said that he’s “begging” for an opportunity to get back in the squared circle.

“I’m begging to do it again. I’m begging because I’ve told 100 people, ‘How do I forget to drink water all day long?’ That’s all that happened to me. You saw me. I drank five beers right after.”

“I can think of a lot of things I’ve screwed up and matches and, you know, things you would change. I just know that could’ve been golden. You know, I just happened to be dehydrated. I don’t know how I could’ve made that mistake because you know how much work I put in with Lethal. We had everything figured out, I mean, and we had so much more to do. God, it would have been great.”

We’ll have to see if anyone is rocking with Ric Flair and will help him make another match happen. That last final match that he had carried a lot of attention with it, and he certainly gave it his all. Only time will tell how many times Ric Flair takes a bump in 2023.
