WWE Drops Another Hurt Business Reunion Tease During RAW

The Hurt Business rose to the top of WWE’s food chain during the pandemic era. Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were all guided to championship gold by MVP. Tonight, WWE dropped another major tease for The Hurt Business’s reunion.

Bobby Lashley made his televised return to WWE RAW tonight. The Almighty made quick work of Austin Theory and declared himself for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event. Backstage, Lashley was approached by Byron Saxton for a comment.

MVP interrupted the interview and told Saxton to leave them alone because they had got business to discuss. MVP revealed it was he who convinced Adam Pearce to reinstate Lashley to RAW.

The two went back and forth over their past history. MVP said he wanted the band back together, noting that Cedric and Shelton had already realized the error of their ways. Lashley said they’re good, but now’s not the time.

“We’re good, but not now.”

Tonight’s segment pretty much confirms that WWE under Triple H is slowly building towards a full-fledged reunion of The Hurt Business. Moreover, MVP also teased expansion during his segment with Lashley.
