Sgt Slaughter Is Not Happy About Lacey Evans Using His Move

Before joining the WWE, Lacey Evans used to serve as a military police officer in the Marines. After she made her return to the company, Evans decided to introduce a new gimmick that was inspired by her role prior to the WWE. As fans drew parallels with WWE Legend Sgt Slaughter, they went on to propose that Sgt Slaughter might eventually manage Evans. The WWE Hall of Famer agreed on the condition that Evans goes through his boot camp. Evans has been seen using the WWE Legend’s signature Cobra Clutch, prompting fans to believe that she has been given the go-ahead by Sgt Slaughter. It seems however that is not the case.

It all started when a fan asked the WWE Legend whether he had given Lacey Evans his blessing to use his signature Cobra Clutch. The fan went on to applaud him for the fact.

“@_SgtSlaughter You gave Lacey your blessing to use the Cobra Clutch, didn’t you?? Excellent!!“

The Sgt replied to the fan, but it wasn’t the reply they were hoping for. Sgt Slaughter responded with Lacey WHO? followed by his emoji giving a thumbs down.

“Lacey WHO?”

Sgt Slaughter’s unexpected reply came as a shock to many. Another fan chimed in and speculated that Lacey Evans is not on the best of terms with Sgt Slaughter.

“Damm @_SgtSlaughter not liking @LaceyEvansWWE”

Sgt Slaughter corrected the fan saying that he likes Lacey, but he found it quite disrespectful that she started using his signature move without getting his blessing. He went to say that the least she could have done was let the Sgt show her the ropes to the move.

“I Like Lacy WHO? It’s Just Using My “Infamous” COBRA CLUTCH Without Consulting ME & Getting My Permission That Is Very Very Disrespectful At Least Let Me Show & Train You How To Use The Most Decorated Finishing Maneuver In The History of Pro Wrestling”

Later on when Lacey Evans tweeted a promotional video of her using the cobra clutch, the Sgt chimed in and was quick to give her a piece of his mind. He dared Lacey Evans to stop by Camp Slaughter where he would personally show her the annihilation version of his Cobra Clutch

While Lacey Evans has earned the ire of Sgt Slaughter, it seems the future of seeing him manage the ex-Marine hasn’t been broken yet. Sgt Slaughter’s offer to train Lacey Evans is still on the table.
