Last week, the fifth edition of the Battle of The Belts went down, and there wasn’t a ton of hype this time around. Still, several titles were put on the line throughout the show. One of the most talked about matches for the show was the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The buzz around the match helped the viewership numbers.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 409,000 viewers tuned into the Battle of The Belts V which is up from Battle of The Belts IV which had only 317,000 viewers. However, these numbers are lower than Battle of The Belts I which had 704,000 viewers.
In the key 18-49 demographic, Battle of The Belts V scored a 0.11 rating which is slightly up from Battle of The Belts rating of 0.10. To put things in perspective, Battle of The Belts I had a demo rating of 0.27.
Considering the fact that Battle of The Belts saw an increase in viewership and demo rating after having dropped so low, it is quite possible that we will get another edition of Battle of The Belts in the next few months. Stay tuned to Ringside News for similar stories.
