Charlotte Flair returned to WWE television programming recently and immediately reclaimed her spot at the top of the mountain. The Queen entered the new year as champion and also expressed her desire to face some legendary superstars. One of those superstars, Michelle McCool, has apparently responded to the challenge.

Michelle McCool debuted in WWE back in 2006. She rose to prominence at a time when women did not get significant opportunities. McCool’s four WWE Women’s title reigns and alliance with Layla as a part of the ‘Lay-Cool’ tag team were widely appreciated. However, she took retirement from the ring in 2010. Since her in-ring retirement, McCool has enjoyed her time as the Undertaker’s wife and mother of his daughter.

Michelle McCool has since then made sporadic in-ring appearances, hinting that she still has a lot left in the tank. Recently, she responded to Charlotte Flair’s statement on Twitter, where The Queen mentioned McCool as one of her dream opponents and that she was more than happy to step in the ring with Flair anytime WWE gave her a call.

“Real Talk….RESPECT! Oh…..& I stay ready for anytime @wwe @TripleH or @StephMcMahon call!😉 #FlawlessQueen.”

Charlotte Flair came back to WWE after a lengthy hiatus on the last Smackdown of 2022 and won the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Ronda Rousey. It is pretty evident that a title match between Flair and Michelle McCool would be an absolute blockbuster at any major WWE show.
