Ronda Rousey’s first run in WWE was followed by a big Royal Rumble debut that stretched into an exciting mixed-tag team match at WrestleMania. After that first run ended, The Baddest Woman On The Planet took a break for an “impregnation vacation.” Now that she’s back, some people are less than blown away.

During a recent episode of Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, the controversial pro wrestling manager took a shot at Ronda Rousey. He straight up said that if Rousey didn’t enter WWE as a former UFC star, then she wouldn’t have what it takes to earn her spotlight.

“If Ronda Rousey did not have the name and reputation that she had from the MMA world or UFC, she wouldn’t be on television. There Charlotte’s a star and then there’s Ronda.”

Jim Cornette went on to say that WWE failed their experiment to get Ronda Rousey over. He also projected a hope that Rousey’s time in WWE is nearing an end as a part-time wrestler.

“Hopefully, is this the end of the Rousey experiment? Ronda Rousey wanted to be a wrestler until she got a little taste of it. She wasn’t even a full-time wrestler. The first run, okay. Then she goes to have kids and raise goats. And I’m not even kidding folks, look it up.”

Ronda Rousey said that she wants to focus on the women’s tag team division now. With Shayna Baszler by her side, it’s easy to picture those two having a dominating match against Damage CTRL, or any other female tag team on the WWE roster. Only time will tell what’s next for Ronda Rousey, but we can’t wait to bring you the info right here at Ringside News.
