WWE saw a huge event as Vince McMahon started off 2023 by reclaiming a seat on the company’s Board of Directors. This move, which was presented a preparation for media rights deals and a potential sale, sparked even more questions concerning what is next.
Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was followed by an assurance that Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will continue as co-CEOs. Also, Triple H will keep his job as he spearheads the company’s creative future. That being said, few believe that Vince McMahon’s booking days are over.
Ringside News reached into this matter concerning Vince McMahon regaining some sort of creative power in WWE. We asked one tenured member of the team if there are any signs that McMahon will return, and we were told, “No. But I’m sure it will happen.”
We will have to see how WWE books their programs in the next few months. It is very possible that Vince McMahon won’t sit idly by and watch Triple H book WrestleMania all by himself. Only time will tell if Mr. McMahon steps out of his Board of Directors seat and back into the Gorilla Position, but it wouldn’t surprise many within WWE if that happens.
Vince McMahon’s return to WWE could have happened at any time. As majority shareholder, it is still his company, and it always was. Fans witnessed a cutthroat business move to regain power, and we will bring you all of Vince McMahon’s movements from this point on, right here at Ringside News.
