WWE is always looking for the best ft for their company. In recent memory, Triple H brought back a few people Vince McMahon released. Only time will tell what the future looks like for WWE with McMahon’s return, but they have one more top prospect to look into.
EJ Nduka, formerly known as Ezra Judge, signed with WWE in 2018. During his short tenure with the company, Judge wrestled a couple of house shows before he was released by the company in 2021.
Nduka is with MLW and is the current Tag Champion along with Calvin Tankman. However, according to reports from Fightful Select, Nduka is actually a free agent since his contract with MLW expired on January 1st. While Fightful mentioned that this news was confirmed to them by EJ Nduka and MLW, there is no word on potential contract talks.
“There were multiple reports today that EJ Nduka (formerly Ezra Judge in NXT) has his MLW contract set to expire imminently, with one saying it was this weekend. Fightful has spoken with both EJ and MLW and confirmed that he’s actually already a free agent and has been since January 1. He’s honored the upcoming date, but no word has been given to us on possible extension talks,” per Fightful Select.
With the confusion surrounding WWE since Vince McMahon’s return to the company, we will have to wait and see if WWE will consider signing new talent for the time being. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we keep you updated on this story as it develops.
