Vince McMahon was the Chairman of WWE for several years and ruled the company with an iron fist. That all ended suddenly last year after he was accused of a hush money scandal. Recent reports suggest that McMahon plans on returning to WWE, which many fans and pro wrestlers are against. In fact, McMahon is still determined to return to WWE just so that he can sell the company.

Following Vince McMahon’s retirement, Triple H took over as head of WWE Creative. This ended up changing the company in numerous ways, because fans feel the overall product has seen a ton of improvement.

That being said, the subject of WWE getting sold still remains a huge topic of discussion even now. According to the Wall Street Journal, Vince McMahon is currently plotting a way to return to the company, in a bid to sell it away.

“Mr. McMahon, who has majority voting power through his ownership of WWE’s Class-B stock, has told the company that he is electing himself and two former co-presidents and directors, Michelle Wilson and George Barrios, to the board, the people said. The move to reinstate Mr. McMahon, which the board previously rebuffed, and the others will require three current directors to vacate their positions.”

Eric Bischoff recently stated that WWE getting sold is more plausible with Vince McMahon out of the picture. We will have to wait and see whether the former WWE Chairman will power his way back to the company and eventually sell it. Till then, fans will simply dread the outcome.
