Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair have been at each other’s throats for several weeks. It all started when Ric Flair called Eric Bischoff an arrogant prick. Since then, the two men have fired shots at each other on their respective podcasts and via social media. Eric Bischoff again spoke about Flair recently.

During a recent episode of his 83 weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed his feud with Ric Flair and said he was done responding to the WWE Hall of Famer.

“As you know, ever since Ric made first comments about me being some kind of an arrogant prick or whatever it was. That was the first shot across the bow, and it caught me….really caught me by surprise. Six months ago I was sitting in a bar in Houston entertaining a room full of beautiful women with Ric Flair.[laughs] And their husbands and boyfriends. It was just, you know, it was, nothing that shouldn’t have been. But it is classic Ric Flair, you know. I even posted a couple of pictures of it. It was so much fun. Dennis Rodman came down, we all hung out together and I’d see Ric at different conventions, you know, we’d get together if we’re at the same hotel room. I’d get a text from Ric saying, “Hey! Come on down. Woooo! See you at the bar.” you know. And that was like six months ago. and then all of a sudden Bam!

I get blindsided with that and I don’t know what it was. I have my suspicions I’ve had other people suggest what it might be. Whatever! And, you know, I went into that kind of it’s just Ric being Ric kind of thing. He just kept on and on and then I responded and you know, I did an interview with Chris Van Vliet in Las Vegas, um, Thursday. And Chris asked me about….the podcast will probably be out on YouTube her shortly. But, and I said, “Chris, I’m done!”

You know I have love for Ric true affection. I don’t know why, personally. But, you know, there’s probably a lot of us that have affection for Ric that don’t know why [laughs]. But it is what it is, and I have a lot of respect for Ric. It doesn’t mean I’m not going to fire back especially publicly if somebody’s gonna, you know, start taking shots at me from the sidelines because that’s, you know, for better or worse kind of my nature to fight back, right.

But, I’m done. I’m just done. I have too much affection for Ric, too much respect for Ric. I don’t…If Ric wants to sit down face-to-face, take a swing at me. I don’t care. I’ll still have affection for Ric. But if he wants to, you know, face-to-face, just kinda talk to sit through and figure out where it’s all coming from and why. Look, if I owe an apology for something I said that set him off, I’m happy to do that.

But I’m not, you know, I just don’t want to participate on the whole social media thing. I just don’t think it’s healthy and again, because of the respect I have for Ric, I don’t want to do it. So, I’m not doing it. I’m not gonna fire…he can say whatever he wants to about me publicly. He can post whatever he wants to on social media. I’m just not gonna engage and again, face different conversation. But, this social media crap, you know, eh, not doing it,” Eric Bischoff said.

With Eric Bischoff saying he isn’t going to engage Ric Flair online anymore, one can only imagine if this will be the end of their long standing feud. We will have to wait and see. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we keep you updated on this story as it develops.
