WWE Nixed Lacey Evans Segment On SmackDown

Lacey Evans’ character has undergone several changes since her main roster debut a couple of years. Following a brief return last year, Evans was once again taken off television as she was set to undergo yet another gimmick change. That being said, WWE ended up nixing a segment featuring Lacey Evans on Smackdown last week.

For the past few weeks, WWE had been airing vignettes of Lacey Evans, where she was going back to her roots as a marine. Naturally, fans were excited to see when she would properly return to WWE television.

According to a report by Fightful’s paywall, Lacey Evans was originally supposed to appear on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown by airing yet another vignette. However, decided to pull the Lacey Evans segment, so she did not appear on last week’s show.

The reason behind her segment being pulled was not revealed, but it is believed that it was due to time constraints. We will have to wait and see when the former Southern Belle will make her triumphant return to WWE television.
