Austin Theory remains one of the young and rising talent in all of WWE. While Theory had a streak of bad luck for the past few months, things have certainly turned out for the better for the young star. Theory was also pulled from a WWE live event recently, which made fans wonder whether he was injured. Thankfully, it seems Theory isn’t injured in the slightest.
Austin Theory won the United States Championship at WWE Survivor Series and has been on a roll since his huge win. That being said, Theory was advertised to face Seth Rollins in the main event in a steel cage for the US title during last week’s live event in Toronto.
Austin Theory was pulled from the event and in the end, Rollins was advertised to face Bobby Lashely instead. In the end, Rollins had to battle Finn Balor in a steel cage match, because Lashley wasn’t there either.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Austin Theory is not injured in any way. Meltzer added that he is not aware why Theory was pulled from the event in the first place.
Theory on Friday was not in Toronto, but I was told it’s not an injury or anything like that. I don’t know if it was an issue going across the border. I was told that Theory is going to be wrestling Seth Rollins and there’s no problem or no injury.
We will have to wait and see how Austin Theory will be booked as the United States Champion in the coming weeks. By the looks of it, it is clear that Theory and Rollins’ feud is far from over.
