Tasha Steelz is sticking with IMPACT Wrestling. The star had re-signed her contract with IMPACT Wrestling back in November. While in her announcement she said that she’s glad to “deliver it for the next few years,” larger details about the signing are still mystifying.
Fightful Select revealed that the deal is a multi-year contract. IMPACT reportedly didn’t want the star to reach the period of her free agency, and immediately went for a contract.
Initially, Steelz’s contract terms would have ended in April 2023. However, IMPACT Wrestling didn’t wait that long, as the star would have eventually landed other opportunities. Allowing for her contract to end would have aided the news to spread.
This is the pattern that IMPACT has followed with most of the wrestlers who made their debut with the company. It was also revealed that many stars leaving the company last year have given IMPACT a silver lining.
Since many stars such as Eric Young, Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, Good Brothers, Kingdom, Briscoes, Morrissey, Tenille Dashwood, IInspiration have left the company, IMPACT’s budget has opened up significantly more. Let’s hope that Tasha Steelz’s upcoming years in the promotion are seamless and harmonious.
