“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is one of the most iconic performers in WWE history. The Texas Rattlesnake enthralled fans with his performance at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year, which made fans wonder if he will ever compete again. Amid rumors of his return to WWE next year, Austin is almost sure to appear at WrestleMania 39.

The Bionic Redneck squared off against Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match at the end of WrestleMania 38’s first night. He then proceeded to win the match, much to the delight of everyone in attendance.

As previously reported, WWE also believes that Steve Austin will compete again. In fact, WWE has already offered Steve Austin a match. Austin also recently uploaded videos of himself killing it with his RV gym, and he followed it up with even more videos.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Steve Austin is at the very top of the list of legends who are very likely to appear at WrestleMania 39, more so than The Rock and John Cena.

“[John] Cena is a ‘probable’, and Dwayne [Johnson] is a ‘possible’,” while “[Steve] Austin is probably the surest of the three… it’s just a question of how he feels, and he’s gonna do what he feels like doing,”

WWE and Steve Austin are in talks for a match at WrestleMania 39 next year. We’ll have to see what WWE has planned for Austin next year, as fans simply want to see The Texas Rattlesnake duke it out in the ring again at the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
