Samoa Joe successfully defended his AEW TNT Championship against Wardlow this past week on AEW Dynamite. Following the match, Samoa Joe cut Wardlow’s ponytail. Just when it looked like Joe would do more damage, Darby’s music hit and he attacked Joe from behind with a skateboard.

Following the incident, Tony Khan took to Twitter to make the match official. It now looks like Samoa Joe will defend his AEW TNT Championship against Darby Allin on the first Dynamite of the new year.
