The wrestling business brings success and glory to the superstars who put their bodies on the line for the entertainment of fans. However, the physically tormenting sport can even lead to fatal injuries, having a direct impact on the wrestler’s life. The latest to be subjected to this tragedy is former ROH superstar Jonathan Carrion.

Jonathan Carrion, also known as Deranged of Special K, wrestled for Ring of Honor for years. He currently lives in the state of Texas and planned to wrestle for various national promotions. However, he will be out of work and would not be able to walk properly for at least a year following an injury suffered in the ring while preparing for several tryouts.

The ROH Original needs to get major surgery and rehab done in order to gain his ability to walk again. Jonathan Carrion posted on Twitter announcing a GoFundMe campaign to cover the medical and living expenses, further elaborating on the situation in detail on the campaign page.

“Unfortunately I won’t have enough characters here, but a full description of my injury and situation can be found on the gofundme page. I won’t be able to walk or work for nearly a year. Anything helps. If you’re unable, please share the link. Thank you.”
