Cash Wheeler Surprised That FTR Ended 2022 With A Big Title Loss

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have truly worked hard to make themselves one of the best tag teams in the industry right now. 2022 was truly an amazing year for the team, as they simultaneously held the ROH, AAA and IWGP Tag Team Championships. However, 2022 has not ended the way they wanted to as FTR ended up losing the ROH and most recently – the AAA Tag Team Titles. Cash Wheeler has now decided to reflect on ending 2022 with yet another loss.

For the past month or so, FTR has lost many of their matches. It started with FTR losing their ROH Tag Team Titles earlier this month at ROH Final Battle against The Briscoes. That streak of losses continued for the Top Guys.

Last night, FTR lost the AAA Tag Team Titles to the team of Los Hermanos (Dragon Lee and Dralístico) at the AAA Noche de Campeones. Naturally, this shocked many fans for many reasons. Right after the match, Dragon Lee revealed he signed with WWE.

Following their shocking loss, Cash Wheeler took to Twitter and reflected on FTR ending 2022 losing yet another match. He also congratulated the new AAA Tag Team Champions.

Another loss. Not how we saw the year ending. But congratulations to Dralistico, and double that for Dragon Lee. Lose or win, Mexico crowds make me feel like I actually am wrestling in the 80’s. What a life.

Jim Cornette also believes people still stop caring about FTR due to their constant string of losses. We’ll have to see what will become of FTr in the end, now that they have lost two titles.
