Lana was one of the more memorable things about WWE television before she was released last year. Following her release, Lala has kept herself busy with a lot of outside projects. She is also married to AEW star Miro and for a long time, fans have been wondering whether Lana would join him in AEW. Lana also recently remarked that Miro would return to WWE one day and it seems Jim Cornette blasted her for those comments.

Miro has not been seen in AEW since All Out, and he has not even wrestled on Dynamite for a few months. Fans have only been worried about Miro’s status in AEW for a while now.

Miro’s wife Lana stated that he will return to WWE in the future, which made fans wonder whether Miro would end up leaving AEW. In fact, Miro even refused to lose a match, which led to his absence. While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette talked about Miro rejecting a match and his subsequent absence. Cornette laid the blame on Lana for hurting Miro’s chances in AEW.

“If I was Tony Khan, I would simpy sit down with the guy and say, “Okay! You know, we wanted you to be on TV and beat some people and get some heat on a guy and go to the pay-per-view and do the job with whoever this was. And depending on who it was, I could be offended by the idea or not. If he wanted to do a job for [Orange Cassidy] pockets, I don’t blame him for saying f*** you. If it was for Bryan Danielson or whatever, it might be a different story.

Then I would see if he had an idea. If he had an idea, and it was in any way palatable to me, I’d try to work it in. Maybe not after f******* Lana’s comments but with the situation that has existed so far.”

Tony Khan also defended Miro’s absence from AEW television recently. There is also the belief that Tony Khan might feel pushing Miro might be a waste. We’ll have to see whether Miro’s time in AEW is over eventually.

What do you think of Miro’s booking in AEW? Sound off in the comments!
