Mountain Dew Advertisement Spoils Top WWE Royal Rumble Match

WWE’s new management has completely changed the landscape of the company with its innovative and creative strategies. One of them has been the introduction of new match types and recently there has been yet another fresh bout advertised for the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble event in 2023, known as the “Pitch Black match.”

The Pitch Black match has been discussed for a while and has reportedly been pitched for the Rumble event. A close source of the company claims that the match will feature The Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt, in his first-ever bout since making a return to WWE.

A new Mountain Dew advertisement reveals details regarding the Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble. The video shows a WWE arena going black before the text appearing “When It’s The Pitch Black Match” later touting it as “Anything Can Happen.” The footage also features a man walking with bright light emerging from behind, appearing to be Edge.

The WWE regime has discussed doing a Hell in a Cell match for the Royal Rumble event, potentially between ‘Demon’ Finn Balor and ‘Brood’ Edge. Apart from that, the company has reportedly planned the return of a fan-favorite persona, with this looking to be an intriguing edition in the history of the Royal Rumble event.
