FTR was known as The Revival in WWE, and they had a lot of success in NXT as the NXT Tag Team Champions, where they faced several solid teams. After a stint on RAW and SmackDown, and a few WWE main roster title runs, it was clear that the two were not happy in the company anymore. There were rumors that FTR complained a lot in WWE. Now it seems Dax Harwood decided to put those rumors to rest.

After being underutilized numerous times on the main roster, they were finally granted their release by WWE back in 2020 and eventually made their way to AEW. FTR has taken over and claimed the spot as one of the world’s greatest tag teams.

While speaking on the Gentleman Villain podcast, Dax Harwood talked about his time in WWE. Harwood then stated that there were a lot of misunderstandings about them ‘complaining’ behind the scenes in WWE. He shot down rumors that FTR complained a lot during their time in the company.

“We never did that. We just wanted better for ourselves. We wanted better for the tag team division because we knew that if the division grew, we could grow with that division. And we knew that if we stayed in the rut that we were in, we were never gonna be elevated.”

FTR is still evaluating their options once their AEW contracts expire. They also ended up losing their ROH Tag Team Titles earlier this month, which made fans wonder whether FTR will return to WWE next year. We’ll have to see what the future holds for FTR.
