Lacey Evans Set To Return Next Week On WWE SmackDown

Lacey Evans’ character has undergone several changes since her main roster debut a couple of years ago. Recently, Lacey Evans has been kept off television for several weeks. However, WWE has aired vignettes signalling yet another gimmick change.

Each video shows Lacey undergoing military training. It’s well documented that Evans is a former member of the US Marines and this could be WWE’s way of utilising her background to get her over with the fans.

Tonight on SmackDown, WWE aired another Lacey Evans vignette during the show with the text indicating that she was returning to the blue brand next week.

Since the vignettes started airing, fans have speculated that Sgt. Slaughter will return as Evans’ manager since the two share a similar gimmick. The two of them have even teased teaming up together. We will have to wait till next week to see if Lacey Evans shows up with Sgt. Slaughter.
