Brock Lesnar is one of the most intimidating men to ever set foot in a WWE ring. He is also one of the most destructive men in professional wrestling. While his on-screen persona can be quite scary, Lesnar is known to be the opposite in real-life. However, that doesn’t mean that the Beast Incarnate doesn’t get upset.
During the mid 2000s, Vince Russo called Sable, who is Brock Lesnar’s wife, and asked her if she wanted to work in Impact Wrestling as an authoritative figure. Lensar picked up the call before handing it over to his wife.
Speaking on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Vince Russo recalled the incident saying he had no idea Brock was on the other line and after the call, Kurt Angle called him to give him a bit of shocking news.
“I get a call from Kurt Angle. And Kurt said to me, ‘Vince, what did you do?’ And I’m like, ‘Kurt, what are you talking about what did you do?’ ‘What did you say to Brock Lesnar?’ I’m like, ‘What?’ He goes, ‘Vince, this guy wants to kill you. You call him to speak to Rena [Sable’s real name], you don’t introduce yourself to him, you don’t have a conversation with him, and he says you totally disrespected him, and now he wants to kill you.'”
Brock Lesnar was at one point considering joining TNA and even asked Kurt Angle how much he was making with TNA. One can only imagine what would’ve happened had Lesnar joined TNA. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more coverage of such stories.
