Miro debuted in AEW in 2020 and immediately made a massive impact. He went on a dominant run and even won the TNT Championship. However, he soon ran out of steam and lost all the momentum he once had. This has resulted in Miro being terribly booked this entire year.
Miro’s wife CJ Perry did an interview where she stated that Rusev Day is never over, while also saying that everyone eventually returns to the WWE. Following that comment, Dave Meltzer reported that a comment made by CJ Perry resulted in Miro not being booked following Full Gear.
However, Miro has now responded to those reports by reminding Dave Meltzer that he wasn’t featured on AEW television long before his wife did that interview.
“@davemeltzerWON , what happened between January and June ?,” wrote Miro.
Miro last wrestled at AEW All Out, where he teamed with Sting and Darby Allin to defeat The House of Black. Miro hasn’t been seen on television since that match. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more coverage of such stories.
