Tony Khan cares deeply about pro wrestling. He has been actively bringing in elite talent to AEW ever since he founded the organization, including John Moxley, CM Punk, and Bryan Danielson. However, this doesn’t stop trolls from mocking him on social media.
The AEW President just posted a statement on Twitter in response to fans attempting to troll him on social media. He wrote on Twitter how he hasn’t worn spectacles in a while, and he also had some harsh words for social media accounts that have profile pictures of him wearing glasses in an effort to present him negatively.
“I haven’t worn glasses at all in years, so if your social media presence is built around a profile pic of me in glasses aimed to portray me unflatteringly, as each day passes you become less relevant, “Also, it’s Christmas this week which means #AEWDynamite Holiday Bash TOMORROW!””
The tweet was re-posted by the official AEW account. In response to Khan’s tweet, AEW’s Renee Paquette tweeted, “We Stan a king with good vision.” This will surely silence Tony’s haters.
Tony Khan has not worn glasses since the early days of AEW. Additionally, he also promoted the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday. Meanwhile, his most recent tweet was sent after Jim Cornette criticized him for using his inheritance to support AEW.
Many fans don’t want Tony Khan to emulate Impact Wrestling, and this is why they are concerned about his recent spending spree. Stay tuned to Ringside News for live coverage of AEW Dynamite. Below are the full tweets from Tony Khan and Renee Paquette.
