WWE has a roster full of talent on the indies, all willing to make a return to the company. Triple H brought back a slew of released Superstars, and it appears one more is on his way.
Eric Young made a name for himself in Impact Wrestling, where he eventually became the Impact World Champion, among other things. Young then debuted in WWE back in 2016 and had a solid run in NXT, but the same can’t be said about his main roster run. Young was eventually released by the company, but he will finally be returning to WWE soon. In fact, Young is expected to make his WWE return in January.
Young was eventually released from the company. Killian Dain believed that WWE were simply idiots by not making Young the NXT Champion when they had the opportunity.
As previously reported, Eric Young is set to make his WWE return. According to Mike Johnson on a PWInsider Q&A, it was reported that Eric Young will be returning to WWE in January next year.
I haven’t heard that (if Young is Uncle Howdy) and was told that Young would not be starting with WWE until 2023, but until we see Uncle Howdy actually inside the ring, it doesn’t matter who is playing him on the videos at this point.
It could be anyone and they could be using Bray to voice it over for all we know.
Given Nikki Cross’ recent gimmick change and her most recent tease, it is evident that Eric Young will be rejoining Cross as a member of SaNITy once again. We’ll have to see how Young will be booked this time around.
