Molly Holly is a two-time women’s champion and also a former Hardcore champion. She was one of the highlights of the women’s division during the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era in WWE. Molly Holly is also no stranger to appearing in Royal Rumble matches, as she has done so in the past a few times. It seems Holly is down to appear for next year’s Rumble if WWE needs her.
The WWE Hall of Famer competed during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. Molly Holly also competed in the first-ever Women’s Rumble match back in 2018 and then in 2020.
While speaking during a K & S WrestleFest virtual signing, Molly Holly talked about possibly competing at next year’s Rumble match. Holly made it clear that she is game for the Royal Rumble if WWE needs her.
I told the creative writing team that if I do have to be in it [2023 women’s Royal Rumble], I need some advance notice because that hurts to go from not doing it for a long time and getting thrown in there so, they have not given me any notice as of yet and it’s getting close to that time. So they better tell me soon if I am gonna have to be in it.
The least amount of notice they’ve ever given me for a Rumble is six days… I go to the tanning booth, I try not to get too burned, I go buy rub on tan, bleach my teeth, dig through past outfits to see if I can bedazzle them or somehow jazz ‘em up because there’s no way I can find a seamstress in that sort of time and do a lot of crying [Molly laughed].
Molly Holly was also hired as a backstage producer in WWE last year. She even got massive props for her job. We will have to wait and see whether Molly Holly will compete at next year’s Royal Rumble match.
