Tony Khan Called Out For Spending His Inheritance On AEW

Ever since Tony Khan started AEW, he has been busy signing a lot of top tier talent to the company like John Moxley, CM Punk, and Bryan Danielson. Most of Tony Khan’s recent signings have been ex-WWE wrestlers. Hence, when news broke that Sasha Banks was going to be at Wrestle Kingdom 17, fans started speculating that she and Naomi could be AEW bound.

Jim Cornette explained on his Jim Cornette Experience podcast that Tony Khan has spent his inheritance on AEW. Cornette also suggested that Tony should let Sasha Banks go to NJPW and instead sign Mandy Rose.

“Tony has already spent his inheritance… the long-term contracts he has signed, these suckers are getting him for after the Punk debacle, he is trying to rally his troops. Chris Jericho will be there till he is 62, Moxley is there with his wife and probably kids and dogs for years and years. If Sasha Banks wants that much money, then let her go to New Japan to get it. If I was Tony I’d sign Mandy Rose, andd let her do whatever she wants outside of one day a week ‘come here and be on my TV show'”
