WWE will hold the Royal Rumble event on January 28th, and the rumor mill is churning in a big way. Only time will tell who surprises us next month, but one former Superstar is throwing his hat in the ring.
Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters had a decent time in WWE, where he would be involved in some memorable feuds. He was released by WWE in 2007 before returning for a shorter second run in 2009. Masters has been working hard in the indie circuit since his release, but has made it clear he does want to return to WWE. It seems he dropped a huge tease recently yet again.
Masters changed his ring name to Adonis and has been competing on the independent circuit. He also became the NWA National Heavyweight Champion on two different occasions.
The Royal Rumble match will be taking place next year, and it promises to have a lot of surprises for fans. With shocking returns being the norm for the Rumble matches, Chris Masters decided to tease his return.
The Masterpiece took to Twitter and uploaded a video of his final wrestling match for this year before tagging WWE, seemingly hinting at a Royal Rumble return next year. His last match of 2022 took place in Pakistan, but only time will tell if he will compete for WWE next.

Chris Masters also previously teased returning during the Royal Rumble match earlier this year. We will have to wait and see if Masters will end up returning at next year’s Royal Rumble event, as fans would love to see him come back.
