Velveteen Dream had a successful tenure in NXT, as he rose to prominence as one of their top performers as a result of his strong character development and ring prowess. He was, nevertheless, the center of controversy due to all the accusations levelled against him.
Recently, TMZ published the arrest video of former WWE performer Patrick Clark (The Velveteen Dream) from August. In the footage, Orlando Police can be seen taking him into custody after Clark is seen reportedly biting and punching a gym employee.
In the video, Clark told the police that he did not commit battery and that they should allow him to call a lawyer. On the drive to the police station, Clark is heard ranting at officers in the footage, admitting to being “a bit drunk.”
Clark also repeatedly tells the police that he was never told his Miranda Rights, that his lawyer would file a lawsuit, and that he is a “WWE wrestler,” all of which are audible. In the end, Clark was charged with two misdemeanor counts of assault and trespassing.
The matter “was disposed” of in September after the claimed victim indicated he “did not intend to prosecute.” Dream entered a not guilty plea and was freed on a $1200 bond on September 9. Dream’s dreams are getting shattered by what’s happening in his life. To make his ambitions a reality, he must take charge of it.
