WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is considered a legend in the pro wrestling industry. Mick Foley worked for several companies before joining WWE, where he earned a reputation as a hardcore legend. The WWE legend recently recalled the help Stephanie McMahon offered, and that obviously stuck with him.
Former WWE RAW authority figures Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon spoke candidly about their experiences working together. Just before the 2016 WWE Draft, Foley and McMahon were chosen as general manager and commissioner of RAW, respectively.
Although they got along well in real life, their attempts to coexist as the red brand’s top decision-makers on screen frequently resulted in conflict. During his FOLEY is POD podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer remembered how McMahon frequently assisted him when he forgot his lines.
“She expected a lot from herself. Her father [former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon] expected a lot from her, and she delivered. You never see her mess up a promo. She was there to rescue me when I couldn’t remember what I was doing.”
On the March 20, 2017, episode of RAW, McMahon dismissed Foley, ending his tenure as general manager. He was replaced by Kurt Angle two weeks later. For further updates, stay tuned to Ringside news.
