Bray Wyatt’s WWE release in 2021 shocked the pro wrestling world for many reasons. After a year of absence, Wyatt made his return during the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event, changing the pro wrestling landscape yet again. With his return, Wyatt also got a new theme song by Code Orange. It seems he first connected with the band via DMs.

With his reintroduction to the WWE Universe, Wyatt unveiled an entirely new side to his character, alongside his newfound intensity and eeriness. His new song called ‘Shatter’ by Code Orange has also become a hit with fans.

While speaking to ABC affiliate WTAE-TV, Code Orange vocalist and drummer Jami Morgan revealed that Bray Wyatt is a fan of metal and they first connected when Morgan messaged Wyatt on Twitter a couple of years ago.

“He’s just a fan of heavy music and cool music. He does a lot of his effects stuff with an amazing guy named Jason Baker down here, who works with Tom Savini and does awesome horror movie stuff. We just got connected through music.

We originally got connected because I just DM’d him on Twitter a couple years ago, and we made a theme for him at the time that was not a cover but, like, a new version of a different theme he had. This time, we connected on making something totally fresh and building something from the ground up together.”

For the past few weeks, Bray Wyatt has been engaged in a feud with LA Knight and fans are certainly engrossed in the storyline so far. We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book their feud in the coming weeks.
