WWE has a few Superstars who are out of commission for one reason or another. However, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will make his first appearance on WWE SmackDown this week after The Bloodline’s victory in the WarGames match at Survivor Series. Sami Zayn will also have a big night, but that’s not all. This should serve as your official spoiler warning.

It should be noted, the Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships are two other titles that will be defended in Chicago. The Viking Raiders, Legada Del Fantasma, and Hit Row square off in a Triple Threat tag match. However, with the Christmas holiday quickly approaching, the crowd at the Allstate Arena will see two episodes of “SmackDown” programming.

Next week’s episode will be pre-taped tonight as well before its December 23rd airing on Fox. According to Fightful Select, WWE has some special plans in store for these next two shows. First, Bray Wyatt is scheduled for both episodes, where he will probably continue to deal with LA Knight and drop hints about the mystery Uncle Howdy. Wyatt was mentioned by Knight last week, but he did not show up.

Instead, LA Knight confronted Uncle Howdy, who had previously only been seen in cryptic movies and brief vignettes. Additionally, the program for next Friday will also feature a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. As of now, it is unknown who would be wrestling in the match.

Interestingly enough, WWE has enlisted several extras to serve as security for a scene on tonight’s broadcast. However, as WWE presumably makes final preparations for each show throughout the day, things might always change. Fans are certainly excited to catch the live show.
