WWE has a few Superstars who are out of commission for one reason or another. As it turns out, Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns are out with the same eardrum injury. We’re not sure how the Tribal Chief is doing, but the Scottish Warrior is getting ready for his return to the ring.
Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were going to compete for The Usos’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown on November 9th. Then reports said the former WWE Champion suffered a ruptured eardrum after McIntyre revealed that he was not medically cleared to compete. Now it appears McIntyre is going to make a comeback to the company really soon.
In a pre-recorded video statement on WWE The Bump, McIntyre gave an update on his condition following a recent injury and said that his return to the ring isn’t far off. McIntyre stated that he doesn’t intend to miss the road to WrestleMania 39.
“I wish I could be there physically, sadly I can’t right now. I appreciate everybody checking in. You know, if Drew McIntyre’s not at work, there’s a reason.
“But I can tell you all I’ll be back very very soon. There’s a certain season on the horizon, WrestleMania season. And I’m not going to miss that.”
Drew McIntyre claimed to be about to work out in the video he sent from his home gym. This suggests that his recovery is doing quite well. Stay tuned to Ringside News to know when the WWE star finally makes the comeback.
