WWE released Mandy Rose from her contract at the height of her popularity. Shawn Michaels made the call at the last minute to take the NXT Women’s Title off Mandy Rose when he was informed that her premium content was getting X-Rated. Interestingly enough, Mandy Rose decided to break her silence behind the very paywall that got her fired.
Mandy Rose’s WWE release was caused by the fact that she kept posting NSFW content behind her premium paywall service. WWE knew she was doing this the whole time, but once things escalated from bikini photos to nude videos, they had to do something about it. In fact, Mandy Rose was making more with her NSFW content than she was in WWE.
Roxanne Perez was supposed to beat Mandy Rose at NXT New Year’s Evil anyway, but WWE moved that match up. Then Mandy Rose was released the next day.
In a new post on her premium content FanTime account, Mandy Rose dropped some words to thank fans for their love and support. She also assured them that her profile is not going anywhere.
“Hey guys, thank you for all the messages. I am overwhelmed with all the love and support from you guys. And don’t worry the page is still up! ;)”
WWE left the door open for Mandy Rose’s possible return in the future, and this tweet indicates that she might be open to that idea. We’ll have to see how soon that happens.
Only time will tell what’s in the future for Mandy Rose, but this was certainly a life-changing week for her. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates.
