Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite is called “Winter is Coming” and promises another night of exciting action. The show is headlined by MJF and Ricky Starks who will face each other in a winner takes all match for the AEW World Championship & Dynamite Diamond Ring. The match card is as follows:

Match 4 of the Best of 7 Series for the AEW World Trios Championship: Death Triangle (2) vs The Elite (1)

The Elite’s music plays and the group makes their way to the ring. Death Triangle’s theme song plays next and they make their way to the ring.

The match starts with Nick Jackson and Penta in the ring. Penta takes him down. The back-and-forth between both men ends in a stalemate. Penta tags out and so does Nick.

They attack Rey Fenis and Pac and tag in Kenny Omega who hits the KOtaru Crusher. Cover! 1..2…kick out.

Omega tags out. Matt sent to the apron but Kenny hits the backbreaker on Pac and they dive onto all members of Death Triangle. Nick sends Pac into the ring. Nicks tag sin his brother who tags in Omega. Omega attacks Pac and tags out to Matt who hits the stomp on Pac’s arm.

Matt attacks Pac in the corner and tags in Omega. They hit the double suplex. Nick appears injured on the outside. Omega tags in Matt who is distracted by Penta allowing Pac to hit the German suplex.

Pac attacks Matt in the corner and tags in Penta. Penta chops Matt in the chest. He tags in Fenix who also chops Matt, drops kick and Penta with a low dropkick. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Pac tags in and continues to attack Matt in the corner. Matt rolls outside and the continues before Fenix sends him in the ring. Death Triangle with a triple dropkick. Penta kicks Matt in the leg.

Penta tags in Pac who kicks Matt in the side of the head. Pac tags in Fenix. Fenix with an elbow to Matt and a kick. Matt with a Northern Lights suplex.

Fenix tags in Penta. Matt hits the Northern Lights Suplex. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Penta tags in Pac and Matt tags in Omega who hits the crossbody. Omega picks up Pac and hits best bang for your buck. He hits snap dragon on Penta.

Omega with a snap dragon on Pac. Fenix sent outside. Omega hits the rope and is tripped by Pac who follows it with a cutter. Omega fights back with a brainbuster. Penta takes out Matt on the apron. Fenix and Penta attack Omega in the corner. They set him up in the corner and Fenix with a spanish fly followed by an inverted frog splash.

He tags Pac who goes for black arrow and misses. Nick comes back to the ring. They both tag out. and Nick attacks the Lucha Bros. He knocks Pac down with a clothesline and hits the cutter on Fenix. He goes for the superkick but Fenix catches the leg and Penta hits the leg with the hammer. Fenix locks in the inverted knee bar as Nick taps out.

Winner: Death Triangle

After the match, Omega gets on the mic and says that what he’s about to say is for Death Triangle. He says that a 3-1 deficit is pretty bad and says let’s make the hammer legal for the next match. He then says let’s make all weapons legal and he’s sick by playing by their rules. He challenges them to a No DQ match next week. He then bids the crowd adieu.

MJF is interviewed backstage. He says that Ricky’s promo a star making performance. He says he was already a star when he arrived in AEW. He then says he made Ricky Starks a star because he is the starmaker. He then mocks Ricky Starks. He continues to say that the only thing that matters is the AEW Title. He then insults the crowd.

He says he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and he was born better than everyone. He says he isn’t feeling any pressure for the night because he is already the guy. He says he has no one to let down while everyone is rooting for Ricky Stark. He questions how Ricky will perform under the pressure.

*Commercial break*

The Acclaimed’s music hit and they come out with Max Caster rapping their song. Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt, and Jay Lethal attack The Acclaimed. Jeff Jarrett smashes a guitar over Max Caster’s head in the ring.

Jeff then asks if they have The Acclaimed’s attention now. They then take the AEW Tag Titles and pose with them.

Tony interviews JAS who says the Giant Swing is barbaric and should be banner and he take his frustrations out on a jobber. He calls Claudio as flash in the pan. Jericho says Daniel shouldn’t have lost the title to Yuta and asks him to shadow Sammy Guevara who says it’s now over with Jon Moxley.

Brian Cage vs. Jungle Boy

Brian Cage’s music plays and he walks out to the ring with Prince Nana. Jungle Boy’s theme song hit and he comes out to the ring.

Jungle Boy goes for an arm drag but is stopped by Cage and knocked down with a shoulder tackle. Jack sent to the apron but he kicks Cage and hits the diving hurricanrana.

Cage powers Jack into the corner and attacks him. He then suplexes him from the apron into the ring. He picks up Jack and does bicep curls and hits the fallaway slam.

Cage with a backbreaker. Cage goes to work on Jack Perry. Cage with a jumping knee. Cage with a chin lock on Jack Perry. Jack fights back with a kick and an elbow strike. Jack dives onto Cage but he is still standing. Cage picks him up for a Powerbomb but Jack reverses into a DDT.

Cage with a couple of strikes and a German suplex. He then hits the full nelson driver. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Cage picks him up but Jack with a rollup. He hits the ropes but Cage witha. clothesline. Cage picks him up with Jack counters into the Destroyer and locks snaretrap. Prince Nana distracts the referee as Cage tags.

Cage sent into Prince Nana and Jack with a roll up for the win.

Winner: Jungle Boy

After the match, he gets on the mic and says he beat Luchasaurus and Brian Cage and now he asks Big Bill to come out. Stokely comes out saying Jack’s face pisses him out.

Jack walks towards Stokely but he is attacked by Lee Moriarty and Big Bill. Lee sends Jack into the steel steps. Big Bill sends him into the ring and Lee and Big Bill attack him. Big Bill hits the chokeslam.

Hook’s theme song plays and he comes out. He gets in the ring and everyone leaves.

Blackpool Combat Club is backstage and Moxley says that Wheeler and Claudio won at Final Battle while he choked Takeshita unconscious. Claudio says 2023 they are putting everyone on notice. Yuta says you have to fight if want something.

Moxley says that Sammy is gutsy and he promises to stomp Sammy’s face into a bloody mess. Jon says Page knows where to find him.

Swerve is backstage and he says he will see Keith Lee on Rampage.

The House of Black vs. The Factory

The House of Black’s theme song plays and they walk out to the ring. Julia Hart approaches Nick and hits the Black mist as the House of Black attacks the Factory.

In the ring House of Black surround QT Marshall in the ring and Black with a roundhouse kick for the win.

Winner: House of Black

Hikaru says she will beat Jamie Hayter.

Britt is backstage and says the only thing Shida is famous for is breaking her nose. Skye interrupts her and asks if she can wrestle and challenges her to a match.

Chris Jericho vs. Action Andretti

Chris Jericho’s theme song plays and he comes out to the ring.

The match begins with Jericho slapping his opponent. He does it again. Jericho attacks him in the corner. He hits the clothesline in the corner. His opponent fights back but is not enough. Jericho attacks him in the corner.

He knocks down his opponent. His opponent with a tornhillo. Jericho gets up and attacks him again. He then hits the codebreaker. Cover! 1.2..kick out. Jericho with elbow strikes.

He sends Action out of the ring. Jericho sends him into the ring and sends him back in the ring. Jericho with a back suplex. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Jericho goes to work on Action. Jericho chops Action’s chest. Action fights back but Jericho with a poke to the eye and punches him. Action fights back and hits a clothesline followed by a neckbreaker.

He then goes for the split-legged moonsault but Jericho gets the leg up. Action sends Jericho outside and hits the moonsault on Jericho. He goes for a springboard dive but is caught and rolled up by Action. He then hits the dropkick. He then hits the running shooting star press and gets the win.

Winner: Action Andretti

Ricky Starks is backstage saying he is the man and he finally gets his shot at the AEW Championship. He says it’s been a long road since he has been here. He says he will win the title because he has no other options. He says people care about seeing him beat MJF.

He says that MJF doesn’t know what it’s likes to have people support him. He asks MJF not to forget the name Ricky Starks.

Jericho is throwing a tantrum backstage that he lost to Action Andretti.

Tay Melo vs. Ruby Soho

Tay Melo’s theme song plays and she comes out to the ring. Ruby Soho’s theme song plays next and she walks to the ring.

Tay attacks her before she gets in the ring. Both women exchange strikes. Ruby sent her into the barricade. Tay fights back and sends her into the barricade. She then sends her into the steel steps and sends her into the ring.

The match starts and Ruby with a couple of back suplexes. Cover! 1..2…kick out. Ruby kicks Tay and she rolls out of the ring. Tay is leaving but Ruby stops her but Tay hits a DDT on the ramp. She sends Ruby back into the ring.

Tay kicks Ruby’s ribs. Ruby fights back but not enough. Tay goes to work on Ruby Soho. Tay gets out of the ring and rips a fan’s sign. She gets back in the ring but is taken down and Ruby with a couple of strikes.

Ruby hammering elbow strikes on Tay. She hits the clothesline. Ruby with a boot in the corner. Ruby sends Tay into the turnbuckle. Ruby plants Tay. Cover! 1..2..kick out. Ruby goes for a stomp but misses and Tay hits the big boot. Cover! 1..2..kick out.

Both women exchange strikes. Tay takes her down and hits the gotch style piledriver. Cover! 1..2..kick out. She goes for TayKO but us kicked by Ruby who hits the Destination Unknown for the win.

Winner: Ruby Soho

Anna Jay AS comes out and she attacks Ruby Soho. She hits the Gory Bomb.

Hangman Adam page is backstage who says he doesn’t know when he is cleared to compete. He said he will give a status update on Rampage. He narrates what happened in the back of the ambulance when he couldn’t remember his son’s name. He says he is taking Jon’s ass back to hell.

Dustin Rhodes says he is with the best friends and they are not going to lay down for Kip Sabian, Butcher, and Blade.

Winner takes all match for the AEW World Championship and Dynamite Diamond Ring: MJF (c) vs. Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks’ theme song hits and he makes his way to the ring. MJF’s theme song plays next and he walks to the ring.

The match begins MJF knocks down Ricky and mocks him. Starks with a shoulder tackle sending him out of the ring. MJF climbs the turnbuckle and walks into the crowd. He gets back in the ring. Hip toss from Starks and follows it with a back body drop.

Starks with a clothesline. MJF with a poke to the eye and he attacks him in the corner. MJF goes to work on Starks. Starks fights back but is hung on the top rope sending him outside.

Starks gets back in the ring. MJF with a gutbuster. Starks fights back but not enough. MJF with an abdominal stretch on Starks. Stark escapes with a hip toss followed by a lariat.

Starks with a jawbreaker and an elbow. He hits the lager bomb on MJF. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Starks sent into the turnbuckle and MJF stomps the arm. MJF powerbombs Starks on his knee.

MJF attacks the arm of Starks. MJF slaps Starks but he retaliates and they exchange strikes. MJF pokes Starks. But Starks hits the spear. Cover! 1….2…kickout and MJF transitions into the Salt of the Earth but Starks gets to the rope. He goes for it again but Starks rolls him up.

Starks hits the thrust kick and goes for Rochambeau but MJF escapes and distracts the referee and hits a low blow. He then rolls him up for the win.

Winner: MJF (c)

After the match, Bryan Danielson’s theme song plays and he comes out chases MJF as he runs through the crowd. He then helps up Ricky Starks.
