AJ Styles is one of the most experienced performers in WWE today, with almost 20 years in the business. Styles’ seventh year as a WWE Superstar will be celebrated next month after decades outside Vince McMahon’s former company. He has seen a lot and recently discussed fellow RAW Superstar Chad Gable’s in-ring ability.

While the former Olympic wrestler is brilliant inside the squared circle, his devious techniques have frequently derailed his momentum. Styles and Gable faced battle in an extremely entertaining one-on-one contest on this week’s RAW.

AJ Styles acknowledged his opponent’s in-ring ability during an interview with Byron Saxton on RAW Talk. Styles did, however, add that Gable’s attitude was holding him back.

You know what the problem with [Chad] Gable is? He’s unbelievable in the ring, he has all the talent in the world. Yet sometimes he’s like every other turd that comes through here, doesn’t know his strengths and doesn’t want to capitalize on him, he’d rather show off and shush people. Gosh, imagine how good he would be if he would just apply himself to being a leader.

Chad Gable has been in WWE for about a decade, and he has mostly wrestled as a tag team wrestler. He’s won championships alongside Jason Jordan, Robert Roode, and, most recently, Otis. Keep an eye on Ringside News for more.
