Solo Sikoa made his NXT debut just last year. Within just a year of debuting in NXT, Solo Sikoa made his presence felt when he prevented Drew McIntyre from winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE Clash at the Castle. He has a lot of opportunities in WWE, including working alongside The Bloodline’s Wise Man, Paul Heyman.

Ever since aligning himself with The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa has been dominant. Recently, he assaulted Matt Riddle so viciously that Riddle had to be stretchered out of the arena. While Roman Reigns has been the Head of the Table, Paul Heyman has also played a pivotal role in guiding the faction.

Solo Sikoa opened up about Paul Heyman in a recent episode of Superstar Crossover. During the episode, he noted how Paul Heyman has been around since his dad’s time in WCW. He also mentioned that Heyman was like his uncle.

He’s like my uncle, man. First of all, he’s been around my family for over 50 years. He’s been around Roman’s dad, he was around my dad. I don’t know if a lot of people know this, but my dad was one of the first Paul Heyman guys when they started in WCW because he was their manager. Now he’s with Roman and my brothers, and now with me. There’s a lot of things that he’s taught and is still teaching me.

There’s just so many things that I can’t even… he does tell me, ‘This is the place where you go be a big superstar, make some money, and take care of your family.’ That’s one of the things that he does tell me.

Solo Sikoa also continued to say that he’s very blessed to work with Paul Heyman considering how much Heyman is familiar with his family.

“He’s real, man. That’s what I love about Paul. They don’t call him the ‘Wise Guy’ for nothing. He knows the game, he knows the one, he knows the outs. He’s been around the family. He knows our family. He knows how we move, he knows how we work. So I’m very blessed, especially coming up and only being here for two months, I’m very, very happy to be around him and to learn from Paul Heyman,” Solo Sikoa said.

It’s quite clear WWE are building up Solo Sikoa for a big push in the future. It will be interesting to see what that entails for the Street Champion. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more similar stories.
