Bray Wyatt made his return during the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event and completely changed the complexion of the company. Fans also can’t stop talking about his current storyline, which has been a very slow-burn affair. The NXT commentator, and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, recently weighed in on Bray Wyatt’s current SmackDown run.
Wyatt secured a contract with the Stamford-based business back in 2009. The 35-year-old held numerous titles, including the WWE and Universal Championships, during his roughly 12-year career as a regular wrestler. But in July 2021, the business removed him from his agreement.
Wyatt returned to the company in September of last year, more than a year after leaving. Booker T discussed Bray Wyatt’s current SmackDown run during the most recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast. He said that he approves of what the company is attempting to do with the former Universal Champion.
I see what they’re trying to do with Bray. Trying to normalize him a little bit. I like that just because the supernatural with me I always said it could only go so far. You only got so much life in a character like that but Stone Cold Steve Austin was something that you was gonna buy all the way to the end and then you was gonna cry when he couldn’t do it anymore. So, that’s what I’m looking for with talent like that.
Bray Wyatt has yet to take the stage in any matches since rejoining the Stamford-based company. While The Eater of Worlds is currently engaged in a conflict with LA Knight on SmackDown, an unexpected challenger appears interested in confronting him in the ring.
