Wheeler Yuta Wins ROH Pure Title During Final Battle

Wheeler Yuta lost the Ring of Honor Pure Championship to Daniel Garcia during a previous episode of Dynamite. Tonight, he reclaimed the title from his arch-rival at Final Battle.

Wheeler Yuta took on Daniel Garcia for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship at Final Battle tonight. The match was contested under pure rules and featured veterans including Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels as judges.

Wheeler Yuta won the match after a highly physical matchup. The Blackpool Combat Club member destroyed Garcia with repeated elbow strikes to the neck, forcing the referee to call for the bell.

The two-time ROH Pure Champion proceeded to shake hands with Garcia after the match. The Jericho Appreciation Society member pushed the title from Yuta’s hand only to pick it up and hand the strap to the winner.
