Former WWE Superstar Big Cass, who now goes by the name W. Morrissey, underwent a huge change over the years. He reinvented himself in the indies after battling depression and other issues, and he managed to garner a lot of respect. He is a permanent fixture in AEW now, and it seems the company has changed up his name.
The former WWE Superstar made his AEW debut back in May of this year, where he was defeated by Wardlow. He then returned to AEW back in September and subsequently aligned himself with Stokely Hathaway, as part of The Firm.
AEW previously announced Morrissey and Lee Moriarty for a tag team match on tonight’s AEW Rampage episode. In the graphic, Morrissey’s name was changed to Big Bill. Morrissey confirmed the name change in his Twitter bio, but changed up his spelling.
“BiGG BiLL representing The Firm (Douglaslawson92@gmail.com for bookings) #BigBambino #QueensFinest @HerrenProject #BigDubb B-i-Double-G B-i-Double-L.”
We will have to wait and see how Big Bill will be booked on AEW television in the coming weeks. For the time being, fans simply want Big Bill to succeed in the company.
