CM Punk suffered a foot injury during his first run with the AEW World Championship. The Second City Saint injured himself once again during the world title match against Jon Moxley at the All Out pay-per-view event, and now he’s blaming Danhausen for the injury.

CM Punk recently took to his Instagram Stories to talk about his injury. The former AEW World Champion joked Danhausen’s curse led to his injury at the All Out pay-per-view event on September 4, 2022.

“Life lesson, don’t f**k with Danhausen.”

CM Punk’s future with AEW remains uncertain. The Chicago native last wrestled for the promotion at All Out, when he beat Jon Moxley for the world title. Punk has teased a possible return to WWE as well. We’ll have to wait see what’s next for CM Punk.
