Brock Lesnar is certainly one of the most decorated pro wrestlers in the history of the industry. In his two runs with WWE, Lesnar has managed to become one of the wealthiest pro wrestlers in the history of the business. However, it was not always like this for Lesnar.

Jim Ross was the head of Talent and Relations in WWE for a very long time. During his tenure there, many WWE Superstars joined WWE’s developmental ground – Ohio Valley Wrestling. This included The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.

While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross talked about the deal he helped Brock Lesnar sign. He revealed that Lesnar told him that he was just tired of being broke.

We made a deal with J Robinson that we would not sign Brock [until the end of the wrestling season] because Brock wanted money. Brock wanted money right away in WWE. He was tired of being broke. I think he was probably getting tired of the camps and the training and the practices, being in school, the structured situation. That wasn’t his idea of a good time.”

It is also believed that Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley’s feud will continue until WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see what WWE has next in store for The Beast Incarnate.
